The University of North Texas offers an interdisciplinary minor in women's studies that allows students to design a course of study suited to their own academic interests and needs.

A minor in women's studies may be earned for the Bachelor of Arts degree by successfully completing the following 18 credit hours of coursework: 

  • WMST 2100: An Introduction to Women's Studies, fall & spring

  • WMST 4100: Varieties of Feminist Thought, spring only

  • Four additional courses listed for women's studies credit (9 hours must be advanced courses)
